Sony Ericsson Xperia Play: Hello World
The world of mobile phones was shaken this past February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona with the announcement of the first ever Playstation phone. Gamers everywhere can rejoice as the new handset is built specifically for those who can’t go a second without some sort of virtual second-life to help stimulate reality. The Play offers a good sized four inch, 854 x 480 megapixel screen for a clear display, and a super-fast Snap Dragon processor and Adreno 205 graphical processor to compliment the high graphics demanded in many games.
For those worried about a substandard gaming experience due to the traditionally reduced functionality of mobile phone controls, fear not, as there is a slide out game controller complete with dedicated gaming controls and analogue joystick. These give you the ability to play with the best of them on both the pre-loaded games and the extra titles that are to be rolled out over the coming years. Stereo sound is available on the mobile phone, as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack to connect your favourite pair of headphones with.
Gmail pushed straight to your handset, Google Earth and Facebook all come as preloaded apps for the socialiser and businessman alike. And the cherry on top is not just the 5.1 megapixel camera integrated with messaging capabilities, nor the front facing camera designed to allow video chat, but the straight-to-YouTube software that will make uploading your captured memories a breeze for the world to see. BlackBerry PlayBook

This 7-inch gadget supports Flash 10.1, HTML 5 and HDMI. It also has a 3MP front-facing camera and a 5MP rear-facing HD camera.
Sony HDR-TD10
It is the 3D camcorder, company’s first ever of its kind. Sony HDR-TD10 is equipped with “Double Full HD” which means that the device has two lenses, two sensors and two image processors. Thus, the camcorder is able to capture two separate frames of Full HD video at a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Loaded with 64 GB of internal memory, Sony HDR-TD10 is expected to hit the stores in April 2011 creating a new way to click pics and videos and after the first movie from an iPhone coming into picture it will be a gadget to look out for!
Apple iWatch
Apple is back this year with many new gadgets. The company known for its design and touch is launching the first ever time an iWatch. Notion Ink Adam Tablet
Integrating two breakthrough power saving components – nVidia’s Tegra 2 chip and a Pixel Qi screen, India’s Notion Ink’s Adam is said to be the first device in the world to do so. The two components will allow the device to achieve almost twice the battery life and performance of the iPad. Notion Ink’s Adam is arriving in the first half of 2011.
Ultrasonic Touchless Input technology
Get ready to execute actions without physically touching the device or a controller. Elliptic Labs is incorporating “Ultrasonic Touchless Input technology” into the Apple iPads that will easily track hand movements from an ipad dock a couple of feet away. Similar to the technology built-in to Microsoft Kinect, Ultrasonic Touchless Input technology is one of the much awaited technologies of 2011.
Liquid Image Summit Series HD
With this all new snowboarding goggles snowboarders, snorkelers and bikers will be having great experience while recording their exploits in glorious high- definition video. Liquid Image’s Summit Series HD 1080P snow goggles have a 136-degree wide-angle lens that can record action while skiing, boarding, sledding or snowmobiling. Images and videos are stored to a micro SD card slot and the goggles can also be connected to a computer via USB. The device is expected in October 2011.
Verizon’s LTE phones
They are Big Red will be rolling out their 4G LTE service in over 30 U.S. cities by the end of the year yet that haven’t announced any mobile devices that will be supported by the new network. One them could be the gorgeous HTC Incredible HD, but other than that rumor, there isn’t much out there. We should know more about these devices by the end of January.
Xbox 720
For all those game-loving junkies, Microsoft is bringing something special. The company has announced that in the years 2011-2012, Xbox 720, the latest version of the Xbox series will arrive. The upcoming Xbox 720 will boast of cool features like internet connection, wireless USB, and a 4GB memory.
Apple iPhone 5

Continuing the iPhone saga, Apple is expected to launch its all new iPhone 5 in 2011, the newest member of the iPhone family. PlayStation Phone
Code named “Zeus”, the PlayStation Phone by Sony is likely to arrive in the first half of 2011. To be run on Andriod 3.0 Gingerbread operating system, Zeus will be loaded with 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor and will come with 8GB of memory. The device is expected to have 1GB ROM and 512 MB RAM.
ElectroHub
this is an awesome one! With an offer of compatibility for a huge amount of devices including the TV remote, toys and smartphones, ElectroHub is a new wireless charging station. What makes it unique is that it doesn’t require the device to have a special case. It provides ElectroHub batteries, which come in both AA and AAA. The device is capable of charging six devices at one time and is expected in the first quarter of 2011.
Nintendo’s 3DS
Gaming is back! And again its Nintendo’s 3DS a portable gaming system that will be able to produce 3D without the need for glasses. It’s going to be out in North America in March and will give students another reason not to pay attention in class.
